About me
I am a Senior Researcher at the Public Policy Group, ETH Zurich, and Immigration Policy Lab (ETH/Stanford). Previously, I was at the Economic and Social Research Institute, Dublin. I hold an MSc in Economics from University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Economics from Heriot-Watt University.
Research
I have worked on empirical projects in a wide range of fields including housing markets, labour economics and migration. My PhD thesis combined machine learning and spatial econometrics; both from an applied and theoretical perspective. I have strong interest in applied econometrics, in particular causal inference, machine learning, policy learning and algorithmic fairness.

Policy
I have contributed policy projects for governmental organisations in the UK, Ireland and Switzerland. In Switzerland, I have evaluated the job vacancy notice obligation introduced in 2020, co-authored a report on algorithmic job recommendations and are currently involved in the development of an online platform for job matching.
